We are delighted to offer local artists and makers to take part in our Christmas Arts and Craft Market on the weekend of Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th November 2023. This festive event will take place at our new Creative Hub Space in the heart of Whitstable, close to all local amenities, and opposite The Smack Inn Pub

Terms and Conditions:

Access to the building is via a cobbled sloped forecourt and is possibly not suitable for people with mobility issues.

We ask that you do not start taking down your pitch until after 4:30 - once the market is closed to the general public.

There is no parking available, however, there is space to drop off your market supplies. The Middle Wall and Keam's Yard Car Parks are less than a 5-minute walk away.

All stallholders are responsible for their own contents insurance. The space will be securely locked overnight and there is a CCTV camera and security alarm at the premises.

Wi-Fi is available, details will be available on the day.

There is a limited number of tables available for use and will be first come first service

Tablecloths will NOT be provided so it is advised that all stallholders bring their own. One chair per table will be provided, stallholders are welcome to bring more.

In order to make the event more accessible and eye-catching, the doors will be open so the space will be cold. It is recommended to wrap up warm.

Stallholders are encouraged to decorate their tables with decorations to encourage the festivities!
Table pitch

£50 for the whole weekend.

You will be allocated an approximate 180cm X 80cm pitch.
Shelving Unit Pitch

£40 For the whole weekend.

You will be allocated an approximate 170 cm x 40 cm pitch on our pre-existing shelving unit.
Types of pitch:
Plese note there is a limited number of electric sockets available for an additional £5 for the weekend if required.

What comes next?
This market application closes at 4:00 PM on Wednesday 25th October.
Artists will be contacted by Friday 27th October on whether their application was successful or not. So please check your Spam/Junk email folders as sometimes our emails end up there
If you are successful you will be asked to pay the required pitch fees before your spot in the craft fair is secured
